After our walk to Sanna and ascent of Meall Sanna on the Ardnamurchan Ring Dyke we headed back along the road to ascend Ben Hiant.
Not much to say in terms of description – park in a quarry space 20m off road at NM 550 640. Climb the easy NE ridge of Ben Hiant on grassy slopes. About 45mins does it at easy pace 170m start height to 528m finish. Great viewpoint to Mull and N to the isles. Worth it if you’ve got a couple of hours or nip up at sunrise or sunset.
This goes into Kinley’s “Shamefully easy viewpoints” collection
